DISCLAIMER: If this method is used then itch will still think the game is out of date! if it still says update then click on the button and then skip update, you may need to do this every time you try to play it. If you download the files that you need (such as the "TalesOfAndrogyny.jar" file) from the browser version of the game page then you can just drop that into the games folder (you can quickly find it by clicking on the gear icon next to launch then manage and then open in file explorer), I personally just got the main Win64.rar folder to ensure it all updated and I checked to see if it updated by finding a harpy to see the new mountain background. I say the browser version because the individual download buttons in the app just directed me to main folder and then it tried to update in itch and I think the error is an itch fault not the dev's so that's a no no. (Ensure that you have an app to extract the files if you download a compressed folder, such apps are 7Zip or WinRar)
